Policy Notes
Indirect Costs:
Every proposed budget should have the appropriate indirect cost rate included.
Indirect costs cannot be waived without the written consent of the Associate Vice Provost.
Cost Sharing:
Cost sharing is only allowed in the budget when required by the sponsor and
verified by the Office of Sponsored Programs.
Tuition:
Tuition should be charged on all proposed projects insofar that it does not conflict
with the sponsor's policy governing tuition.
Nondisclosure Agreement:
Should be reviewed by the Office of
General Counsel prior to being signed.
