Funding Opportunities

The Virginia Tech Funding Opportunities Database contains the sponsored programs and funding alerts, of which Virginia Tech is aware, taken from several sources.

The main source of opportunities is the Community of Science Funding Alert.

Virginia Tech Expertise Database

The Virginia Tech Expertise Database is designed to provide expertise information of participating Virginia Tech faculty members.

The database currently indexes 2027 Virginia Tech experts.

Limited Submissions

Programs will be put on the Limited Submissions web site under the calendar month that the first internal Virginia Tech deadline occurs.

Be sure to check the calendar often, new programs will be added as the information becomes available to us.

American Recovery & Reinvestment Act

The American Recovery & Reinvestment Act web site was developed to provide Virginia Tech researchers with information about the stimulus plan and its impact on funding opportunities and reporting requirements for higher education.
