OSP Launches New Web Site Content

About the New Web Site

The Office of Sponsored Programs has recently launched a redesign of their web site primarily focusing on how content is structured.

The goal of the project is to condense information and provide a more user-friendly experience when navigating the web site.

Bookmarked links should redirect you to the correct landing pages. If your bookmarked link has been removed from the OSP web site, you will be forwarded to a 404 Error page with directions on what to do.

What is New?

Find, Apply, Manage Sections

The Find section will house links for finding funding opportunities and Virginia Tech expertise.

The Apply section will house links related to developing a proposal; essentially all tasks handled by the Pre Award Department. This section will replace the "Funding Guide" links that were part of the old web site.

The Manage section will house information related to managing sponsored projects; essentially all tasks handled by the Post Award Department

Users will find the new Find, Apply, Manage links on the "Navigate" menu located to the left, as well as a drop-down menu on the OSP home page.

Please Note: The Apply and Manage sections are replacing the former "Funding" section of the web site.

About OSP

The "Contact Us" page is now located at www.osp.vt.edu/about/. This section is the starting point for learning more about the Office of Sponsored Programs.

It currently houses contact information for all OSP staff, department responsibilities, maps to the office, and services in detail.

In the future, the section will house as an introductory landing page for learning more about each department that makes up OSP.
