Updated Proposal Approval Form
The Office of Sponsored Programs has a revised Proposal Approval Form which should be used immediately
for all proposals being submitted.
The key changes on the form are:
- Building - It is now important to capture the building where the majority of your work is being
performed. This is in relation to identifying research being performed in tax free bond financed
buildings.
- Discovery Domains - The university strategic plan identifies four research focus areas. Faculty are
being encouraged to identify projects performed in these discovery domains. These domains will be used
by the university to track the growth of research in our strategic research areas:
- Energy, materials, and environment;
- Social and individual transformation;
- Health, food, and nutrition; and
- Innovative technologies and complex systems.
Classification of the domains can be found on the instruction page of the Proposal Approval Form.
The only revision to the Form A is that a place has been added for a proposal title. Form A does not always
accompany the proposal package, allowing Form A to be matched with the correct proposal.
